Lionel BUGMANN was born in 1984.
He completed his higher studies at the University of Geneva. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law in 2009, followed by a Master’s degree in Economic Law in 2011.
Lionel BUGMANN also holds a Certificate in Transnational Law and a Certificate of Specialisation in Legal Practice.
During his studies, Lionel BUGMANN worked as a paralegal at the LALIVE law firm in Geneva. He then completed a traineeship at WILMER CUTLER PICKERING HALE and DORR LLP in the International Arbitration Department in London.
Lionel BUGMANN registered at the Geneva Bar in 2013. He completed his legal traineeship in the law firm LHA Avocats and passed the bar exam in 2015.
He then worked as Acting Secretary General of the Geneva Bar Association, before joining the firm as an associate in 2016.
Lionel BUGMANN is Managing Partner of the firm since 2023.
His main areas of practice are civil and administrative law, real estate law and commercial law, as well as adult and child protection law. Lionel BUGMANN also acts as a director or manager of companies, as well as trusts and estates.
His working languages are French and English.
Lionel BUGMANN is a member of the Geneva Bar Association and the Swiss Bar Association. He is also a member of the Geneva Bar Association’s Commission for Innovation and Modernisation of the Bar (CIMBar).
